Social program
The following social events are included in the cost of the registration fees, and tickets will be provided in the Registration Packets. Workshop Badge and Tickets are required for admission. A few extra tickets may be available for purchase on site, subject to availability, at the On-Site Registration Desk, located at the UH Hilton in the 2nd Floor Lobby outside the Waldorf Astoria Ballroom.

"Welcome to U Houston" Reception
Thursday, December 4-6 to 7:30-9:00 PM UH Hilton - Shamrock Ballroom 261 - 2nd Level
All full workshop participants, student registrants, and Accompanying Persons registrants are invited to begin the Workshop at this welcome event, which includes a buffet, a free ticket for wine or beer, and cash bars.

8-9:30 Desserts & Coffee in Poster Session
Dinner with musical entertainment will be held in the Shamrock Ballroom. Two tickets for wine or beer, served at your table, are provided behind your name badge in the namebadge holder. A dessert buffet and coffee will follow in the midst of the CCA08 Poster Session downstairs in the South Wing lst Floor Lobby.

Workshop meals and area restaurants
Continental breakfasts and lunch will be provided for all Workshop participants on Friday and Saturday. The Hilton University of Houston Hotel and Conference Center has two additional restaurants that provide varied menus. The University Center, located across the street from the UH Hilton, has a variety of food courts. Additional Houston-area food and restaurant information will be available in the Registration Packet.
